Side table by Hugh Acton

 

This wonderful diminutive side table by Michicgan designer Hugh Acton is a rare piece. The scale and the wire base always makes us think of the Eames LTR, but the round shape and the design of the base is similar to Acton's plant stands. Entirely original, the top shows substantial wear from age and use. It will need to be restored or replaced.
