Alvar Aalto Model 36/401 High Back Lounge Chair

 

A classic design by the Finnish master Aalto, the cantilevered model 36 chair has a high, wing back. The beech wood frame cradles and supports the upholstered seat and back which are covered in a rich grey fabric with a coarse hand woven appearance.
