This beautiful painting by Antonio Maro is done in his signature style. A moody, etherial, cool blue field that appears to move forward and recede with light and dark is punctuated by areas of warm copper. The untitled painting is signed and dated on the lower left corner.

 

Peruvian artist Antonio Maro' (b 1928) is internationally known for his rich, abstract works. Maro' has been living and working in Europe since 1950 and currently resides in Belguim.
