Table Lamp with Ceramic Horse Sculpture By Bitossi

 

This lovely table lamp has a base of brass with a fantastic ceramic horse sculpture which references sculptures from antiquity with partially missing limbs. The blue horse has a most wonderful texture and the distinctive "rimini" blue glaze made famous by Bitossi design director Aldo Londi. The blue-green glaze is intended to evoke the color of the Mediterranean.
