Gerald Thurston Floor Lamp by Lightolier

 

This great floor lamp is classic Gerald Thurston. Architectural with a restrained playfulness, it employs innovative materials (perforated steel) and reflected light for a nice mix of direct and indirect illumination. The switch is at the top of the black stem where it splits into three brass arms that support the reflector.
