Part of Achille + Piergiacomo Castiglioni’s Ready Made Collection for Zanotta, the Mezzadro stool designed in 1957 is an icon of Italian mid-century design. Employing a tractor seat attached to a base of steel with a beech stabilizer, it is a cleaver seating solution and surprisingly comfortable. We think it is not only a great sculptural occational piece, but the perfect perch for plucking guitar. This vintage example imported by ICF features a chromed seat (no longer availble) and has a wonderful patina from age and use.
