This Jacobsen swan chair shows the evolution of the design in the 1980s. The base is made of two parts rather than one with a central column attached to a cast aluminum base. The chair retains it's original blue fabric. The foam is still soft and supple, so it could be used as-is or reupholstered in a new/ different fabric or leather.
