This table is a very rare and important piece of Finn Juhl history. Designed and fabricated for the Copenhagen showroom of Danish porcelain manufacturer Bing And Grondahl, this unique table was made by master cabinetmaker Niels Vodder. It features a top with raised edges lacquered a beautiful vermilion that has aged wonderfully. The crazing and patina are exceptional and remind us of of a naturally aged 1950s Fender stratocaster. The proportions and stretcher details relate this work to Juhl's later "Japan" stool. The height and scale makes it an ideal coffee table to mate with a sofa or pair of chairs.
