This facinating table made entirely of glass came from a home designed by famed architects Keck + Keck.

Born in Wisconsin, brothers George Fred Keck and William Keck set up practice in Chicago where they gained notoriety for their progressive modernist architecture that championed passive solar and prefabricated methods.

We had other all-glass tables that Keck designed for their clients, but not one like this ecample which has an opening at the bottom that allows a lamp to be illuminated from within the table. This lamp appears to have been commercially produced,  was in the table when we acquired it and according to the heirs of the estate had always been inside the table.
