Le Corbusier's LC3 seating group was revolutionary when first introduced in 1928. Taking the frame from the interior to the exterior, it forms a cage that holds the upholstered cushions. This iconic design has been widly copied, but only the authorised production by Cassina has the correct proportions, construction details and quality. This example has a chrome plated frame, leather cushions in a redish-sienna, and is, of course, fully marked.
