This beautiful table crafted of black walnut was designed and hand crafted in 1961 by Robert Lovett. It is expertly built with through-tenon legs and subtle details like the single radiused corner and angled edge. It is beautifully scaled allowing it to serve as a desk, a library table, console table, or work table.
Lovett lived in Buck's county Pennsylvania and worked for a decade with George Nakashima building furniture as well as the structures in the the Nakashima compound. The table is hand signed on the bottom.
