Ludwig Mies van der Rohe Tugendhat Lounge Chair by Knoll
Mies van der Rohe’s design from 1930 looks just as fresh today as when it was designed for the Tugendhat residence in Czechoslovakia. This version with arms offers a very different sitting experience than the armless version or the iconic Barcelona chair. While sharing some similar characteristics with the Barcelona chair, the slight spring the cantilever design offers adds significantly to the comfort of the chair.
