This terrific coffee table was custom made for an Alan Portnoy interior. It features a minimalist form decorated with an abstract design in the manner of Alexander Calder. Biomorphic shapes in black and burgundy on a gray background are applied to the top and one side of the base. The design appears to be back painted on clear lucite and the table is very well crafted. Overall, the piece strikes a perfect balance between subtle and dramatic.
