Established by Frank and Theresa Caplan in 1945, Creative Playthings' mission was to provide simple and beautifully designed toys to encourage a child’s creativity and imagination. Caplan worked with noteworthy artists, architects, and designers to create a variety of toys, furniture, and playground equipment. This rocking cradle is very uncommon and a great example of the simple, honest, materials and aesthetic which defined the company.
