This great, graphic custom rug by Edward Fields has a colorful geometric mid-century modern composition on a black background.

Edward Fields is famous for being one of the top makers of high quality bespoke carpets with their rugs being used in important architectural landmarks from Philip Johnson's Glass House by  to the White House in Washington DC.

It measures 144" X 108" but was larger when it was first made. After a move, the original owner had the length reduced, shifting the relationship of the central design to the border.

In good original condition, it would benefit from a deep cleaning.
