The bamboo tables are one of John McGuire's signature designs for McGuire of San Fransisco, the company he started with his wife Elinor. McGuire furniture is made to last generations. John's bamboo tables have a welded iron frame painted the color of the Golden Gate Bridge with natural brownish black bamboo lashed in place with rawhide laces. This model BA-13 features a five legged square base that supports a 54" beveled glass top.

This form was designed to accommodate a 3/4" thick square glass measuring 36" X 36". Alternative tops include 42" round, or 54" round like this one.
