This great chest by Lane typifies 50s style. Clad in blonde wood, and supported by splayed legs, the chest has a locking lid that lifts to a cedar compartment with a shallow tray. There is additional storage in a lower drawer nicely detailed with sculptural pulls. The original key for the lock is still present.
