Post modern icon, the "Seconda" chair by Mario Botta is a study in geometry as Botta strips down every element of the chair to it's leanest, most essential form. 
This vintage pair from the 80s is a second generation iteration of the design with chrome plating to the frame, leather covering the cylindrical backrest, and zippered  leather covers on the seat and armrests. The covers were added to increase comfort, but can be easily removed for a more austere appearance.
