This compelling work by French artist Nathalie Decoster (b. 1965) is emblematic of her work– an androgynous figure striding within a circle. 
This iteration is designed to be hung on the wall via two brackets allowing the orientation of the figure to be selected at will.
We actually have two of these, which create different narratives and visual tension when hung together.
