The modular seating group designed by the Nelson office in 1955 is one of our favorite sofa designs. It was designed on a 30" module and offered in a wide variety of configurations. Low, wide slung, and deep, the design is clean-lined with just a row of buttons on the back adding a subtle detail. The seats have a nice pitch and the body of the sofa is supported by a steel chassis with brushed chrome legs.

This example has been professionally restored and upholstered in an Alexander Girard magenta fabric which is a cross weave of vivid red and violet. While designed as a two-seater, the generous scale allows three people to share the sofa.
