A masterpiece of the De Stijl movement, Gerrit Thomas Rietveld's "Schroeder 1" table was designed in 1923 for the Schröder House in Utrecht. An asymmetrical composition of interlocking planes in primary colors, the design looks as starkly modern today as it did when it was first designed. 
 
The first tables were hand made before Italian manufacturer Cassina began producing them as part of their "iMaestri" collection. This matched pair dates to the 1980s.
