This rare Paul McCobb lounge chair is from his "Predictor Group" for O'Hearn which was only in production for four years starting in 1951. 
 
The Predictor Group combined McCobb's sophisticated modernist sensibility with traditional Windsor and Shaker forms. Executed in solid maple, they are highly refined, well built, and have subtle refined details. 
 
This striking example is in completely original condition.
