Pierre Paulin's sublime sculptural sensibility is on full display with this F300 lounge chair designed in 1964 for Artifort. 
The one piece form in smooth fiberglass curves, folds and bends down on the outside four corners to create the legs. Minimalist in material and sensibility, but with a sensuous rather than severe aesthetic. It should come as no surprise that it is included in the permanent collection at the MOMA. 
 
This early vintage example is in good original condition with just light signs of age and use.
