This 1956 abstraction in oil on canvas by Sacha Kolin is a wonderful example of her work. Interlocking shapes in white, red, turquoise, and yellow twist and flit over a black field creating tension between positive and negative space. A noted modernist painter and sculptor, Kolin's work is held in many major museum and institutional collections.
